Description

In winning the Cheltenham Gold Cup, the RSA Chase and the Albert Bartlett Novices Hurdle, Bobs Worth became the first horse since Flyingbolt in the 1960s to triumph in three different races at consecutive Cheltenham festivals, and started favourite for all of them. His other victories including the Hennessy Gold Cup and the Lexus Chase, he was trained at Seven Barrows near Lambourn by Nicky Henderson, and ridden by Barry Geraghty.
